Winfield Community Mourns the Loss of Beloved Resident Jamie Leighann Griffin Warren

The Winfield community is mourning the passing of Jamie Leighann Griffin Warren, 46, who died peacefully at her home on Monday, November 10, 2025.

Born on December 3, 1978, in Winfield, Alabama, Jamie was the daughter of James and Barbara Ann Smith Griffin. A proud 1997 graduate of Winfield City High School, she was known for her warmth, humor, and unwavering love for her family and friends.

Those who knew Jamie remember her as a kindhearted woman who cherished life’s simple joys. She loved cooking for her loved ones, enjoyed playing ball before her illness, and found happiness in makeup artistry and gaming — especially her favorite, Pokémon Go.

Jamie’s greatest pride and joy were her children — Kyle Pedersen, Kade Pedersen, and Kearsten Guyton (Luke) — whom she adored deeply. She is also survived by her mother, Barbara Ann Griffin; brothers, Scott Tucker and Brian Tucker (Summer); sister, Merita Arnold; and several nieces and nephews: Adrienne Tucker, Keifer Tucker (Mea), Kaleigh Tucker, Garrett Arnold, Dakota Arnold, and Rylei Arnold.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Griffin; brother, Hoyt Tucker; and her beloved aunt and uncle, J.C. and Hazel Christian.

A memorial service celebrating Jamie’s life will be announced at a later date.

Bowen Funeral Home of Winfield, Alabama, is assisting the Warren family during this difficult time.

Friends and family remember Jamie for her compassionate spirit and radiant smile — qualities that will be deeply missed but forever cherished in their hearts.
