A violent suspect wanted in connection with a kidnapping and shooting incident in Spring, Texas, has been captured following a multi-day search by law enforcement.
According to Constable Mark Herman’s Office, deputies responded on November 1, 2025, to a report of shots fired at a residence in the 4200 block of Louetta Road. When deputies arrived, they discovered evidence of a violent confrontation involving Treveon Marquis Causey, who had allegedly taken a child without permission and later returned to the home armed with a handgun.
Investigators say video footage showed Causey loading his firearm and confronting the victim. During the altercation, he reportedly impeded the victim’s breathing, while another unidentified female suspect physically assaulted her. The suspects fled after gunfire erupted, striking the victim’s vehicle.
Deputies with the Constable’s Special Operations Unit quickly identified Causey as the suspect. On November 4, they located his vehicle traveling in the 21100 block of Aldine Westfield Road and conducted a high-risk traffic stop, successfully taking him into custody without incident.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office has accepted multiple felony charges against Treveon Causey, including:
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Kidnapping
Violation of a Protective Order/Bond Conditions
Felon in Possession of a Firearm
“Treveon Causey was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. He is awaiting bond out of the 174th District Court,” said Constable Mark Herman in a statement following the arrest.
Authorities have not yet released additional information regarding the female suspect or the condition of the victim. The investigation remains ongoing.
