A disturbing case of alleged harassment involving students from West Brook High School has come to light after a probable cause affidavit obtained by KFDM News revealed new details about the accusations.
According to the affidavit, a 17-year-old female student at West Brook reported to Beaumont Police that she has been the target of ongoing harassment and stalking by two fellow students for nearly a year. The victim told investigators the behavior was “near constant,” occurring not only on the high school campus, but also at her workplace, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and even at her home in Beaumont through persistent electronic communication.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office released booking photos of the two accused students following their arrests last month. Both were later released on bond, pending further legal proceedings.
Authorities have not released the names of the students due to their ages. The affidavit, however, indicates the investigation includes multiple reported incidents of intimidation, unwanted contact, and online harassment that allegedly took place over the span of several months.
A friend of the accused students has publicly denied the claims, telling KFDM News that the allegations are false.
As of now, the case remains under active investigation by the Beaumont Police Department, and school officials have not issued a statement regarding disciplinary action or possible violations of the district’s code of conduct.
