Police in Monroe are investigating a triple homicide after two men and a toddler were found dead early Tuesday morning at a home on Grammont Street near the city’s public works department.
According to the Monroe Police Department, officers were called to the scene around 2:30 a.m. after reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they found three victims — a 26-year-old man, another adult male, and a 2-year-old child — all suffering from gunshot wounds to the head.
Authorities confirmed all three victims were pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives spent several hours collecting evidence and interviewing nearby residents.
Police have not released the victims’ names pending family notification and have not identified any suspects or possible motive at this time.
