A young Irish woman from Kerry has tragically died while living abroad in Australia, leaving family, friends, and an online community in mourning.
Serena Downey, 29, from Listowel, was working as a plant operator in Perth when she passed away suddenly. Known for her warm spirit and lively presence on TikTok, Serena had built a strong following by sharing glimpses of her life down under.
Her devastated mother paid a heartbreaking tribute, writing, “Sleep tight my beautiful baby. I’ll miss you forever, Serena. I can’t believe I’ll never hear your lovely voice again. Never once hung up the phone without saying love you.”
