A tight-knit coastal community is reeling after a heartbroken father discovered the bodies of his daughter and her friend on a beach just days before Halloween.
According to local authorities, the two girls had gone out earlier in the evening door knocking ahead of the holiday but never returned home. Concern grew overnight, and a search was launched early the next morning. The girls were later found deceased on the shoreline by the father of one of the victims.
Emergency services were called immediately, but both were pronounced dead at the scene. Police have launched a full investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragedy. While details remain limited, officials confirmed that foul play has not been ruled out, and autopsies are pending to establish the causes of death.
Neighbors described the girls as “inseparable best friends” who were full of energy and excitement for Halloween.
