A 16-year-old boy has been arrested after a 67-year-old man was assaulted and injured in east Windsor earlier this week.
Police say the incident happened on October 21, 2025, just before 2 p.m., in the 2000 block of Olive Road. Officers arrived to find paramedics treating the victim, who had suffered a head injury. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators determined that the man was walking down the street when a youth on a scooter chased and kicked him from behind, causing him to fall and hit his head on the ground.
After reviewing surveillance footage, officers were able to identify the suspect. The teen was arrested a short time later in the 5000 block of Tecumseh Road East.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with assault causing bodily harm.
