The Patterson community is mourning the loss of Retired Patterson Police Officer Cathy Notto, who has passed away after years of devoted service to the department and the city she proudly served.
Police Chief Garrett Grogan and his staff released a statement extending their deepest condolences to Officer Notto’s family, friends, and former colleagues.
“Officer Notto served this community with compassion, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to the safety and wellbeing of our youth,” Chief Grogan said. “She made a lasting difference in countless lives through her work as our Juvenile and School Resource Officer.”
During her career, Notto became known for her approachable nature and her dedication to helping young people stay on the right path. Her impact extended far beyond law enforcement, touching the lives of students, parents, and educators throughout Patterson.
“She cared deeply about our kids and this community,” one former coworker shared. “Her legacy will live on in the many lives she helped guide and protect.”
Funeral arrangements for Officer Cathy Notto have not yet been announced.
