Law enforcement in Rappahannock County responded to a string of incidents over November 3 and 4, 2025, ranging from larceny and vandalism to DUI arrests and a major breaking-and-entering case.
On November 3, deputies were called to the 500 block of Widewater Road after an unknown person withdrew funds from a resident’s bank account, marking the latest reported fraud case. Later that day, a firearm was reported stolen from a vehicle on Jennifer Lane. The following morning, police received multiple reports of vandalism and theft in the Windridge Drive and Kings Crest Drive areas, where suspects broke into several vehicles and stole items.
Law enforcement also arrested two individuals for impaired driving. At 12:07 a.m. on November 4, 25-year-old Yami Arita of Woodbridge was stopped for speeding on Foxchase Boulevard and Cambridge Street and charged with DUI and reckless driving. Around 3:35 a.m., 20-year-old Emerson Temaj Lopez of Falls Church was arrested on I-95 Northbound near Mile Marker 140.8 for DUI and failure to maintain lane after erratic driving was observed.
A major breaking-and-entering incident occurred at Heflin’s Garage on Warrenton Road at 10:41 p.m. Deputies determined that 23-year-old Jonathan Quintanilla Perla of Richmond had attempted to forcibly enter the business and had stolen items from multiple vehicles. Perla faces several charges, including felony vandalism, breaking and entering with intent to commit larceny, twelve counts of entering a vehicle without consent, and three counts of petit larceny. He is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
Authorities continue to investigate these incidents and are asking anyone with information to contact the Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office.
