The New York Police Department is mourning the death of Detective Alicia Stone, a 13-year veteran of the force and mother of three, who was found unresponsive in a Manhattan hotel room just one week after undergoing a cosmetic procedure.
According to law enforcement sources, hotel staff discovered Stone, 38, unconscious on Tuesday afternoon. Emergency responders performed life-saving measures before transporting her to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead about an hour later.
The NYPD confirmed her passing in a statement, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of a respected officer known for her dedication and compassion.
“Detective Stone served the people of New York with integrity and pride. Our hearts are with her family, colleagues, and friends during this incredibly difficult time,” the statement read.
