Fred, the well-known owner of Fred’s BBQ House, has passed away, leaving a lasting impact on his family, friends, and the local community. Surrounded by loved ones at the time of his passing, Fred was remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Fred was widely recognized for his generosity, supporting charitable causes including Toys for Tots, Shriners, local food shelters, and churches. Regular patrons fondly recall his warm smile, positive energy, and daily interactions at the counter, where he would greet everyone and express gratitude for life.
Visitation will be held at Jones Wynn Funeral Home on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Freddie’s Christmas 4 Kids, which can be dropped off or mailed to Fred’s BBQ House.
