A Jackson man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for a 2022 shooting that injured a local college student and pizza delivery driver, according to the Jackson Police Department.
Investigators said 46-year-old Antray Terrill Morrow was sentenced on October 20, 2025, to serve 50 years in the Tennessee Department of Correction. He must serve 44 years before becoming eligible for parole.
The case dates back to February 21, 2022, when officers responded to Jackson General North ER after a gunshot victim drove himself to the hospital. Police said the victim, a college baseball player who also worked for Domino’s Pizza, had been shot while making a delivery.
According to investigators, after completing a delivery, the victim noticed a man in a dark Mercedes-Benz following him. As the victim drove along U.S. 45 Bypass, the suspect pulled up beside him and opened fire, hitting him once in the left ankle.
Detectives identified Morrow as the suspect after learning he lived at the delivery address and owned a vehicle matching the description. The victim later identified Morrow from a photo lineup.
Court records show Morrow had multiple prior felony convictions, including aggravated assault, reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon, and possession of cocaine with intent to sell or deliver, making it illegal for him to possess a firearm.
In December 2024, a Madison County jury found Morrow guilty of attempted first-degree murder, employing a firearm during a felony, and six counts of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
Followi0ng the sentencing, Jackson Police Chief Thom Corley commended officers and prosecutors for their work on the case, saying the department remains committed to keeping violent offenders off the streets and ensuring public safety.
