Authorities have made several arrests and issued warrants for additional suspects following a violent home invasion that left an 85-year-old Beulaville man terrorized in his own home.
According to the Beulaville Police Department, the incident occurred around 3:13 a.m. on October 17, 2025, when three armed men entered a residence on East Broad Street. The suspects reportedly woke the elderly victim at gunpoint, restrained him, and stole multiple firearms, jewelry, and other valuables before fleeing.
Investigators from the Beulaville Police Department and the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office quickly launched an investigation, which led to the identification of five individuals believed to be involved in planning or committing the crime.
Authorities have charged the following suspects:
Rashadd Hill, of Dudley, North Carolina — charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree burglary, multiple counts of larceny, conspiracy, and possession of a firearm by a felon. Hill was already in custody on unrelated charges and is being held without bond.
Lara Stanley, of Dudley — arrested on October 25 and charged with felony conspiracy, burglary, and firearm larceny. She remains held without bond.
Felicia Gibson, also of Dudley — arrested on October 25 and faces the same charges as Stanley. She is also being held without bond.
Leonandra Akins, of Jackson, Georgia — wanted for robbery with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping, burglary, larceny, and multiple conspiracy charges.
Richard Akins, of Jackson, Georgia — facing similar charges and remains at large.
Both Leonandra and Richard Akins are considered armed and dangerous. Authorities are urging anyone with information about their location to contact the Beulaville Police Department at (910) 298-5360.
Chief Karl Mobley thanked multiple agencies for their assistance, including the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Marshals Service, and several sheriff’s offices and police departments in both North Carolina and Georgia.
“The cooperation between agencies has been outstanding,” Mobley said. “We are continuing to follow leads and expect additional developments in this case.”
The investigation remains ongoing.
