The Central Queensland community is mourning the loss of Valma Eva Davis, a much-loved resident of Bethesda and formerly of Yeppoon and Mount Morgan, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 21, 2025, at the age of 90.
Valma was the beloved wife of the late Labon Davis and a cherished mother and mother-in-law to Geoff and Ann, Arthur and Liz, Beth and Allan (both deceased), Ron, and the late Joy. She was also a devoted grandmother to eight and great-grandmother to twenty-one, remembered fondly for her warmth, strength, and unwavering love for family.
Known affectionately to many across the region, Valma was a treasured sister, sister-in-law, and aunt within the Davis and Roberts families.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Rockhampton Crematorium, East Chapel, on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 11 a.m. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend and pay tribute to a woman whose kindness and faith left an enduring mark on all who knew her.
In a touching family tribute, loved ones shared the words: “Mum, Dad & Joy reunited — forever in our hearts.”
