Authorities are investigating after a person was shot and killed early Tuesday morning in West Palm Beach, according to police.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 3:30 a.m. near the intersection of Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard and Australian Avenue. When they arrived, they found one person dead from gunshot wounds.
The West Palm Beach Police Department confirmed the fatal shooting but has not released details about the victim’s identity or possible suspects. It remains unclear whether anyone has been taken into custody.
Investigators spent several hours at the scene collecting evidence and speaking with potential witnesses.
